Content and navigation
Check the homepage promise, page titles, About information, and menu labels. Remove sample testimonials and unsupported claims. Make sure category pages contain useful introductions and real posts. Open every primary navigation link and confirm that the destination matches its label.
Forms and accessibility
Test fields with valid and invalid input. Confirm where a submission is stored or delivered and explain that clearly. Use visible labels, useful errors, keyboard focus, and descriptive link text. On mobile, check that sticky elements do not obscure the content or form controls.
Performance and recovery
Resize images to realistic display dimensions and avoid unnecessary scripts. Confirm backups and understand how to restore them. Test on a normal mobile connection, not only a fast desktop network. Keep a copy of the last working version before launch.
Measurement and final review
Record the launch date, analytics configuration, and the business actions you plan to measure. Check that conversion events do not fire repeatedly from page refreshes. Share the site with a small audience first and use their questions to improve the next release.
Your next step
A launch is ready when the important visitor tasks work—not simply when the homepage looks finished.
